Mikel Arteta Amatriain, born 26 March 1982, is a Spanish professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Premier League club Arsenal.
Arteta has been praised for his work at Arsenal, with the team winning the FA Cup in 2020 and the FA Community Shield in 2020 and 2022. He has also led the team to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League in 2021 and the final in 2023.
Arteta's success at Arsenal has led to him being linked with other managerial positions, but he has stated that he is committed to the club.
